The Greenbriar gang ventured out to the Kansas City Public Library’s historic central branch location after we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the newly renovated Hotel Savoy Restaurant. We enjoyed the classical charm of this historic building and enjoyed some delicious classic fare to boot! Our trip to the library was a memorable experience for the residents as we looked through a wonderful collection of rare books, toured a photo exhibit, and ended our trip at the serene rooftop courtyard where you can enjoy a peaceful hum-drum of city sounds and even play a life-sized chess game with life-sized pieces. This weekend adventure was memorable and majestically tranquil. The residents would recommend coming to the library to read or even just relax!
