We had a great time at the Missouri Town 1855 Fall Arts and Crafts Festival. There was a lot of interesting artisanal made crafts and goods. The kettle corn was delicious as well as the root beer, yum! Resident Yoko Rowland would have to say that the bubble gum flavored cotton candy was her most favorite treat from the festival. It was a neat learning experience for us to see what life was like in the 1800’s in Missouri. The residents loved touring the chapel, home, and cabin on the grounds, but the fully functioning blacksmith shop piqued the interest of everyone. The oxen were a sight to see. Especially Abraham the ox who weights in at a cool 1,300 lbs, wow! The gang had a great time out on the frontier! Check out the pictures too!
