A small group of residents from The Fountains at Greenbriar headed to the National Toy and Miniature Museum to see their latest exhibit, “Toys From The Land Of Oz!” This fun engaging exhibit displayed a collection of toys, games, and wonders all related to Ozian stories. We were even impressed to see some of the original costumes of the Munchkins from the 1939 movie, a costume from the 1978 movie The Wiz, and costumes from the 1985 movie Return To Oz. Our day was transported over the rainbow and through the enchanted forest, and we definitely weren’t in Kansas anymore…actually, Missouri! The gang had a blast seeing all of the toys and memorabilia from the movies and books. We also had a delicious lunch at Pizza 51, which is a tasty little joint inside an old full service gas station. We had a rockin’ good time as you can see from the muffler and license plate sculpted guitar!
