Residents Donate 300 Pounds of Food for Random Acts of Kindness Week

As part of our Random Acts of Kindness Week, the residents at The Fountains at Greenbriar collected food for a local area pantry, which happens to be our immediate neighbor to the East, George Caleb Bingham Middle School. This local pantry works in the Independence, Missouri School District and provides food for children in the school district through their backpack meal program. The residents have always had a heart for this local pantry and we have made it our mission to giveback by helping the youngest in our community. During this recent fundraiser, we were able to collect about 300 lbs of food for the pantry, but as needs grow for this service, so does the need for more supplies. If you are looking for a way to give back to your community, please consider the Bingham Food Pantry. For more information on donations and how you can help support this pantry, please call (816) 521-5490 and ask to speak with someone with the food pantry. We are planning another food drive in April and the residents hope that you would consider one too!
