Mom seems to like the food at The Fountains at Greenbriar. It is restaurant-style where you select from a menu and the serving is more than she could eat. Mom is in one of the smallest rooms with a kitchenette, and she could roll her wheelchair to the kitchenette and to the bathroom. The place is very clean with neutral colors. She had a couple of pictures, and they hung those for her. The staff is very attentive and very good. The people that I’ve met has been really surprised at how the staff knows everybody’s name. This place is all independent although you can get some assistance from interim health care there.
The fountains have a good location and reputation. My mother in law had been there for a while two years ago, so I was familiar with the location. It’s a great, fantastic facility, and my mother feels very secure and comfortable there. Communication has been great; they provide alert necklaces, and she was able to push that button to get someone there to her apartment within two minutes when she fell a week and a half ago.
We chose The Fountains because it met mom’s needs in terms of the apartment size, the cost and the meal arrangements. Everything worked really well for her. She’s been living there for six weeks. We liked the facility and the people there. They had tons of activities but that’s not mom’s interest. We couldn’t ask for more with the staff, we’re really well pleased. They did a great job of maintaining the place and she liked it there.
The Fountains was very nice. Among the ones that I visited, it was my favorite. It liked the airiness and the arraignment of the place. I liked that the room had a kitchen area with a stove.
The Fountains at Greenbriar is independent living. It’s very neat and clean. Employees and staff were extraordinarily kind and patient. This apartment is in a community that also had assisted living, and it’s closer to some friends of mine, which is good because I’m not driving anymore. They have lots of things to do scheduled. They have nice, small apartments, but if you’re in your 60s and you’re single, you don’t need much space. It’s also nice and quiet there. The staff is wonderful. Each one I have dealt with has been very polite. One of the managers calls me at least once a week to see how my surgery process is, so we’ve established a decent relationship.
We like all the activities they have at The Fountains at Greenbriar. They were just upbeat. My parents have a one-bedroom apartment that has a full kitchen, bathroom, walk-in shower, living room and a patio outside. I know they go on a lot of trips, but my parents are older and have not cared about going into anything right now. My mom has talked about the trips they have taken every week. I know they have Bingo and other activities going on. They said the food has been good.
All I can say is WOW. It’s more like a beautiful hotel. Visited my uncle. His appt had a huge bathroom with walk in shower. A cute kitchenette with a med size mini fridge. Sink, microwave and even a 2 burner stove. The living room was a bit small but enough room to entertain 2-4 people. The bedroom was nice and roomy. Lots of closets. Low floor lighting to avoid stumbles. A ledge outside your door to personalize your doorway. Nice big windows show a pretty view of well kept grounds. As for the rest.. beautiful dining rooms. Tables laid out with prettily folded cloth napkins. They even have a bar for the weekly happy hour. A beautiful staircase and at least 2 elevators. Friendly staff. Fireplaces and huge screened TV’s in common rooms. I know there is much more. Visit our call to get the rest of the story.
My mother has recently made the move into this community and I am pleased with how things are going so far for her. The staff made the transition smooth for her and helped her in any way that they could to get my mother settled in her new place. The apartment is a perfect fit for her, it is spacious and has all of the amenities she would need. Overall we have no complaints so far and look forward to her future at this facility.
I would have to say my favorite thing about this community is the amazing people that live and work here. They have a great staff and very friendly residents that I enjoy the company of. They have a common activity center where I enjoy going to keep busy and play different board games and participate in different events, Overall I am happy and have no complaints.
The apartments are clean and neat, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the amenities that they offer are amazing. They have everything that anyone could possibly want. They also offer transportation services to Walmart or things like that. You know after seeing the place and noticing that they offer a computer room, a dining area, an exercise room, and a chapel I didn’t need to see any other properties. I quickly knew that I wanted my loved one here. They take people on the bus to Starlight theatre, they have to pay their own admission fee, but it’s nice that the schedule things like that. They also have free music entertainment. The staff is very pleasant and I am very impressed with them. While touring the location they were explaining how dinner is included with rent and they invited me to join as well on the house, which was thrilling. The food I experienced was really good and their menu provides variety of choices. I absolutely recommend this facility to other families.
Unfortunately, my mom passed away shortly after moving into the Fountains of Greenbriar. She enjoyed her time there, though and I wish we had gotten her in there sooner. Mom had her own 1 bedroom apartment with a small kitchenette. It was small, but really plenty of space for a single resident. And there were so many things to do in the building or through the trips planned – group trips out to eat, to the movies or dinner theater. Card games, bingo, exercise classes, worship – all included. The staff were very good to my mom while she was there – most staff knew all the residents by name. The other residents all welcomed her – invited her to their table at meals and asked after her when she was in the hospital. It was like an all-inclusive cruise where you could do as much or as little as you wanted and there was skilled nursing assistance on-site if needed. One big perk was the emergency alert buttons all the residents receive – so they can call for help wherever they are in the building if needed. The food was good and senior size portions – cold breakfast and 1 hot meal were included in the rent. Additional hot meals could be purchased for very little money. Guests were welcome and could buy a ticket at the front desk.
There is always something for her to do, I really like that. She loves the food! She looks forward to going to dinner every day. I can’t think of anything they could improve on. Everytime we’ve been there she is just so different than when she was living at home alone. She feels safe there. When we looked around at our different options, the staff is what won us over they were very friendly, and helpful, and they answered all our questions.
The staff have been communicating well with my father and I. He likes residing in The Fountains at Greenbriar it’s a safe community and he seems to be doing good. There are no complaints about the meals they are healthy and nutritious. At the moment he is not participating in activities but they are offered.
My parents are here at this community and are doing very well. The community is very clean and well-maintained, no complaints. I feel comfortable with the staff caring for my parents needs. My parents also enjoy the food very much. They do offer activities but my parents have chosen to keep each other company. I soon hope they will try a few activities for enjoyment. I would recommend this community because my loved ones are happy.
This is one of the places we looked at when we were touring. If I had been looking for places for myself, this would have been my pick. However my mom chose a different place. This was just a little nicer, newer, and just a little more upscale. They also offered a lot more amenities, and activities, different church services and such, which we really liked.
They are doing a real good job. It’s clean and the staff is friendly, they are great. It’s clean, and they try their darnedest to help out if they can. The food is good, and they offer two hot meals a day, lunch and dinner. You can order a hot breakfast for an extra charge, but they offer a continental breakfast for free. They come in every two weeks to clean and sweep my floors, and clean my bathroom. They have pretty good parking here, and they do offer transportation, and a lot of handicapped spaces. I think they are doing a good job.
They’re a pretty good outfit. I’ve never seen it dirty. It’s expensive but they offer so much built in to that rate. They take them to doctors, they have some kind of excursion everyday, all kinds of activities, and the meals are included too. According to my mother the food is just okay. I’ve eaten there a few times and I would say it’s just okay too. The care is fantastic. I really like the way the place is set up. On each floor will have something like a movie theater and a library. There is a dining on my mom’s floor so she doesn’t always have to go down to the main dining room.

This is a wonderful community. The staff members are wonderful and very caring. They offer a lot of great activities. The food seems to be good. She is starting to participate in the activities that are available. She is happy with the meals and the variety. I would recommend this for other families that need care for a family member.
We toured this location when we were looking into options for my Mom. Everything looked great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The person that gave us our tour in particular was very helpful, they really took the time to make sure all of our questions were answered and that we had all the information we needed. Mom decided she wasn’t quite ready to move, but this would have been the place we picked.
My mom has settled in very well at The Fountains at Greenbriar. The staff have been extremely helpful and courteous with the transition. The community has a lot to offer, a variety of activities, and amenities to choose from. They provide a wide range of options for meals. We are satisfied with the care the staff is providing!
We didn’t think my elderly aunt would be able to live independently due to her health conditions. But we took a chance and The Fountains has been just perfect for her. From The Fountains staff to the Carondelet staff… wonderful kind and caring service has been provided to her. It is so comforting to know that at just the press of a button, someone is there right away when she needs help. I would recommend The Fountains at Greenbriar to everyone.
